The public is invited to attend the 74th annual Harlan Days Festival this summer in Harlan, Indiana on August 5, 6, and 7. We are planning for a full festival, but we will scale back if necessary. Entry and parking are free, all proceeds go to support the Harlan Community Park. Please mark your calendar and join us at Harlan Days! Every night in the arena you can watch the action for just $5 starting at 7:30. Thursday night is Horse Racing, Friday night is Side-by-Side Drag Racing, and a Monster Truck Show on Saturday night for the main event! Also, on Saturday grab a seat to watch the Grand Parade stroll through town or take to the air for a helicopter ride starting at noon, flying all evening. Harlan Park will be full of activities all festival long. Sit back, relax, and watch one of our sporting tourneys including softball, basketball, volleyball, kickball, and cornhole. Grab a bite to eat at the festival tent, Lion’s donuts and chicken, or from one of the 10+ food trucks. Visit the craft and merchant tent or enjoy the free live music every evening. We are looking for individuals, vendors and businesses to rent space in our feature tent to sell hand-made crafts, display items for sale or advertise their businesses. The “big” tent at Harlan Days sees as many as 5,000 visitors over the three-day event. Merchants will be advertising their product/services. Artists and Crafters will have their hand-made products for sale. Vendors will have their produce, products for sale. Each Merchant, Artist/Crafter and Vendor’s support will be posted on our Facebook page and this website. Fair dates and hours are Thursday, August 5 (5pm-9pm), Friday, August 6 (5pm-10pm), and Saturday, August 7 (10am-9pm). Inside the big tent – booth a 10’ X 10’ space is $60. • Lighting provided • One electric outlet provided – bring extension cord • Bring your own tables and chairs • Minimum booth space is 10×10. If additional space is needed, reserve additional spaces. • Space is limited inside • We will assign spots in order of receipt of completed application and payment. Outside the big tent – 10’x10’ space is $50 (Space extremely limited. Only a few total spaces.) ▪ No lighting ▪ No electricity ▪ Bring your own tables and chairs Please submit all applications on or before Friday, July 2, 2021 to avoid a late fee of $10. UPDATE!: Due to changes set forth by our Governor, Harlan Days has been cancelled for 2020. Many of you have asked if our beloved home town festival will happen this year. Given that August 6th is still two and a half months away, we still intend on having Harlan Days, but are diligently watching things unfold like everyone else.
